Both options have a sturdy seat made of blow-molded plastic. The seat is curved with drainage holes to reduce slipping. The seat also features grab handles for when the user needs to hold on to something while showering for added stability. This Deluxe Bariatric Shower Chair with Cross-Frame Brace seat is designed to hold up to 500 lbs. The durable blow-molded plastic body along with the aluminum cross frame attached with aircraft-type rivets add strength to support bariatric patients. It has a high degree of scalability and customizability for each user. The legs are made with a European style U-buckle that is inserted into holes every 1 inch. Each leg is adjusted individually which makes it important to check that the legs are fitted to the same hole to achieve an equal height. It is also important to make sure that the u-section clicks are firmly in place before use. All four legs have rubber tips for added safety on a wet surface.
