Med-Aire Melody Alternating Pressure and Low Air Loss Mattress Replacement System is designed for use in the prevention, treatment and management of pressure ulcers. This mattress operates in alternating pressure or fixed mode and is ideal for hospitals, nursing homes and home care. The mattress has 20 air retainers that can deflate within 20 seconds for easy access to CPR. The quilted urethane fabric cover with a two-way zip is waterproof, vapor permeable, machine washable, and low-profile. Within 20 air bladders, nine have laser holes to achieve low air loss function, to increase patient comfort, keep patient cool and recover quickly. Med-Aire Melody Alternating Pressure and Low Air Loss Mattress Replacement System also has LED and audible alarms that provide performance data and alert the caregiver when the pressure drops below 10 mmHg (indoor mattress pressure). The Med-Aire by Drive is a great economical option when an alternating compression mattress is required.
